I've always wanted to make music. I belive I'm a very creative person dog, and I just generally love making things. It's part of why I enjoy computer science so much, because it gives me the skills to create projects and be creative with computers in a way many people can't. Recently I totally legally aquired a copy of Ableton Live 12 Suite, and spent the majority of my day messing around with what I could do with it. I was in a discord call with my friend, and they spent quite a bit of time attempting to explain music theory to me. I'm someone who knows literally nothing about music other than I like listening to it. I made a cute melody and added some sort of bass to it, and it took the better part of an hour. It's the most basic music I've ever heard, but I made it and it's mine and that's what counts. My goal with all of this is to just make a full song I'm happy with, preferably one longer than 12 seconds. The program is so confusing to me, I an equal amount of time making new…
