Okie-Dokie artichokey, let me share what’s goin’ on garden-wise the past few weeks… I have a lot more plants this year to feed, and from my research, watering with rainwater is preferrable thanks to its natural acidity and chemical-free nature. So I picked up a second rain barrel similar to the one I already had. To get it set up, I had to make a few adjustments to two of the downspouts on the side of the house (connecting them and routing into the barrel) but I have it mostly working now. I got it set up a day before we had our huge rain spree. The 65 gallon resevoir filled up in like 2 hours of heavy rain 😄. While it isn’t helping with water control in an area that really could use it, it’s at least giving me 2x the rain reserves for watering my plants during drier spells. 🤷‍♂️ I took delivery of a few new plants I had ordered a while back.
