Some more 3D printed models aimed at Star Wars Legion today. These models were digitally sculpted by Curufin, and can be found for free on Cults3D. They’re pretty simple and straightforward, which thankfully led to them painting up pretty simply. I did the pair of these in one afternoon, though the grimy wash really changed the blue-grey tone towards brown pretty hard. As you can see here, they turned out pretty decently in the end. I may have scaled these up a little more than recommended as the control panels appear a bit high compared to Luke here, but then the tray size looks pretty approriate. These will work well for games like Legion and even Shatterpoint – but also they’re generic enough I think to work in games like 40k or even Marvel Crisis Protocol.
