Wait, am I a vampire??

I might be a vampire. Or, well, a "vampire". As far as I'm aware, they don't really exist. There was a (screenshot of a) bluesky post I saw a year or so ago, from someone comparing the differences between transfems and vampires. The author of the post listed things such as "I'm simultaneously seen as alluring and repulsive", and "I possess the weariness of many decades yet am also perpetually childlike". I'm very much the same and a lot of the points she makes resonate with me. Also "I'm instantly driven off by the sudden brandishing of religious symbols" rings true. Ways that I personally think I align with vampirism: I have super pale skin I go out of my way to avoid sunlight and prefer the dark I cannot see1 myself in mirrors Taking pictures of me is near-impossible I have sharp canine teeth that appear fang-like In order to begin my transition (transformation) I needed my blood extracted I need to be clearly invited in to places or events2 I do not like being percieved in public,…
