This Saturday, May 9th, I will be giving a talk at TU Chemnitz as part of the Lange Nacht der Wissenschaften. At 22:00, "Reise zu den Sternen" takes visitors on a tour of the universe — from comets and auroras in our own backyard, through the nebulae of the Milky Way, and out into intergalactic space. Along the way, we will look at how stars are born, how they die, and why every atom in our bodies was forged in their cores. The talk is part of a bigger night.
