The best one-liner I’ve ever seen on Bluesky. On the opposite end of the repost-and-likes scale, I savoured this challenge set by another Blueskyer (via @kattullus): Change the word “love” to “lunch” in either the title or lyric of a song. For example: “All You Need is Lunch” I had to have a go. Some UK number ones of the 2000s turned out well… Lunch Don’t Cost a Thing The Way to Your Lunch Are You Ready for Lunch Where is the Lunch? Fight for This Lunch But the first one that came to mind for me was Van Halen’s: Ain’t Talkin’ ’bout Lunch. Speaking of songs of the 21st century, I’ll now never not notice the Gen Alpha Melody. The title: Aussie salad rolls are a lunchtime staple of milk bars and school tuck shops. They aren’t the Vietnamese spring rolls that come up when I search for the phrase here on the other side of the world.
