My rule for AI use is a border of interaction. Before the border, in private, I am happy to use AI as much as it helps: search, planning, code, transcription, translation, summaries, drafts, and any other tool-shaped assistance. The border is other people. Once something leaves my side — an email, a message, a published note, a photograph, or maybe someday a piece of music — it has to be authored by me, with my hands and brain. I don’t ever want anyone to question whether any message from me is authored by me or by AI. This note is that contract. For the practical website version of this stance, I keep a separate AI transparency page. Thank you for keeping RSS alive. Subscribe to Flâneur.
