Here's my review of the Painted Rock Outpost campsite. I also got three or four walks in, a mountain bike ride, and an early morning run. I loved the campsite, and the clothing optional part was a big bonus too... I absolutely loved my stay at this campsite. If you’re looking for a place that feels untouched, peaceful, and deeply connected to the land, this spot delivers in every way. The pristine views of the Painted Desert alone are worth the trip—every sunset felt like a private show as the sun’s rays bounced off the distant cliffs, intensifying the desert’s vivid colors. So in addition to the review of the campsite on hicamp, I did get a run, three walks, and a mountain bike ride in on all this 60 acre isolated campsite just off the Navajo reservation. The weather was amazing and the site was clothing optional which was a big plus for me. What truly sets this place apart is the privacy.
