Our Trip to Bataan

After months of planning, changing destinations, and fighting, my high school friends and I have finally put a foot down on a destination to kick off the summer season - Bataan. A province in Central Luzon that I haven’t been to! We stayed at Bataan White Corals. A beachfront property that also hosts an amazing pool neither of which I wasn’t able to enjoy because I wasn’t in the best mental space to dip in water. Our first night in Bataan featured food mostly. For dinner, we went out to look for places to eat at, but to our surprise, restaurants in this part of the country closes at 7:30 PM. In the stores we visited, the vendors thought we were children. They thought one of our friends who’s with child and is with her 6-year-old was a teen mom (she’s 30). It was a funny encounter.
