She’s correct, of course, but it’s funny to see the basic tenets of Christianity being rephrased like this. “For God so vibed with the world that He sent His only begotten Son to be canceled, that whosoever believeth in Him should not perish in problematicism, but have everlasting understanding.” The old questions return: What is guilt? What is purity? Who is stained? Who may be forgiven? What must be sacrificed to restore the community? The metaphysics are gone, but the social drama remains. Original sin reappears as ‘being problematic’; confession becomes the apology post; excommunication becomes cancellation; grace is the one doctrine nobody thought to secularize.
