This song means more than just childhood orchestra memories to us. During our lowest of lows as the pandemic happened, we were ready to give up. As part of a last hurrah, we were invited to play a Christmas party in somebody's barn in the middle of Texas, and we said sure, why not? It was a four-hour gig, and after about two hours, we started running out of tunes to play - and in a moment of inspiration, Jon summoned this fiddle tune from deep within his soul and for the next minute and a half, we locked in and improvised this take on this motif made famous by Aaron Copland, 'Fievel Goes West', 'Titanic', and that one beef commercial from the 80s! Our friend took a video of it, and for fun, we uploaded it to TikTok for our 45 followers at the time. By morningtime, it had gotten over a million views, and we couldn't keep up with replying to all of the comments from people who were dancing to this song in their living rooms!
