I forgot today was Monday so here I am on the couch 10:48 pm writing my weeknotes! This was a Gamer week because Forza Horizon 6 came out (probably my most anticipated new game of the year?) and I did put a bunch of time into it. I'm enjoying it a lot, they streamlined a lot of things from Forza Horizon 5 which I appreciated and the new Japan map is very fun to explore. Definitely a lot of Place, Japan moments like how one of the first races you do is in Shirakawa-go and Nathan and I were pogging and pointing at the computer like Omg we've been there. It didn't look totally accurate to the real thing but it's a video game so whatever. Very funny how wide the roads are in the game compared to real life. GREAT soundtrack too. My only gripes are the really poor unskippable cutscenes and they really shove this customizable character in your face all the time that they don't have any non-ugly options for. I couldn't even give my character a beard. He just wears a racing helmet now lol.…
