Moving to a less always-on style of communication

I've been thinking through some stuff while on vacation and just generally not being online as much, and I think for me one of the next big steps is going to be removing myself from text based communication and moving back to actual phone calls where I can. I think that the text message has its role, when you're busy and can't speak out loud it's great to just fire one off, but I think at its core we sort of engage in really cheap and shallow communication over a long period vs more meaningful or at least satisfying short term conversations. I think I want to give this like a month to percolate and see if it's something that works for me. Remember to thank your Town Manager for a job well done! Contact
