I'm back from Ireland and still fighting the jet lag. It was an amazing trip. Really fulfilling seeing a lot of family stuff and also just being in a new place. And my biggest fear of going on an actual family vacation for the first time in over a decade turned out to be not so bad after all. I'm working on a nice big writeup about it but it probably won't be ready for a couple weeks because I want to sort through all my pictures and also I'm just busy as hell the next few weeks. So please look forward to a big vacation post when I eventually get around to it. Mariah and Nick came to visit before the trip and it was great as always to see them. I didn't get to hang out that much because I had to work but we did get good food and play pinball and mess around with musical instruments in the apartment.
