He has a dedicated Vim website, check it out, and subscribe to his RSS feed. But, today, I have other topics for him ⤵️ Emojis I’m conflicted about emoji. On the one hand, it’s very cool that you can include LITTLE PICTURES in what is from a technical perspective JUST TEXT. But on the other hand it’s kind of sad that they killed good old sideways emoticons and their EXOTIC, rightways-up cousins, kaomoji. :'( On the gripping hand, it sucks there’s not more consensus between platforms on what the images should actually look like, leaving the SEMANTICS so open to interpretation. Have you SEEN the Docomo “Rainbow” emoji? I can definitely think of ONE way that might lead to misunderstandings. 😬 On the fourth and final hand, why is there never an emoji for the thing I want to say?! They keep adding new ones!
