Things are a little quieter now, but my boys have a busy few weeks ahead. Eldest officially starts his GCSE exams next week and will finish up around the middle of June. He's done the odd practical / speaking exam for Drama, Music and English already, but now it's time for a solid schedule of revision and written papers. Eldest is pretty good with all this, so I'm hoping that (unless he's unwell!) he'll fly through the next month or so. Then we sit back and wait for the results at the end of August! In the meantime, there will be taster days at his chosen sixth form with his 16th birthday falling during the same week. He's decided he doesn't want to do Prom and is arranging a couple of nights camping with some of his closest friends instead. I was a bit sad initially that he'll miss such a milestone event, but his social anxiety would be through the roof and his health absolutely comes first.
