Over the past several weeks, I’ve been finishing the final pieces in my Secret Atlas series. The collection is nearly complete—around thirty pieces, I think—and I’m feeling ready to bring this chapter to a close. At the same time, I can feel myself being pulled toward new work: softer, more atmospheric abstract landscapes full of mist, layers, blurs, and translucency. One of the final pieces of the Secret Atlas on the left, something new and moody on the right Before I begin whatever comes next, I’m focused on closing out Secret Atlas well—sealing, backing, titling, and preparing these pieces for release. I’m excited to share this collection soon, whether through a small in-person gathering or an online launch. I’m raising a glass to the final stages of a collection I’ve truly loved exploring. More soon. The post Secret Atlas Collection Winding to a Close appeared first on Appalachian Ground.
