A Couple Hand in Hand – Havana, Cuba I don’t recall whether I shot the photo because I saw the couple walking hand in hand or because I was drawn to the architecture. Either way, the couple is perfectly positioned to draw the viewer’s gaze from the foreground along the angled facade to the couple. Without them, the photo would be just a picture of character-filled facades. That’s not bad, and I’ve made those shots and featured them on the blog. But it’s always nice to have another element elevate an image. It was also fortuitous that there were no other cars or people. Just a clean composition of buildings and the couple.
