Hello! Can you please explain how having 2 agents works in different contexts? Like agent and junior agent/agent assistant, agent and agent at same agency, agent from one continent and the other agent from a different one? Do authors with 2 literary agents have more commission taken out?
It probably depends on your specific situation, so, you know, talk to your agent if this is something that comes up, but this is MY experience: -- Experienced Agent and Junior Agent/Assistant Agent/Whatever, at the same agency: We are working on the projects together, with the more senior agent acting perhaps as a "lead" with the other agent helping them, OR, with the junior agent as the "lead" and the more senior agent acting in advisory capacity.
