Over the weekend I received an email telling me that GFiber was finally here. The pricing at the lowest tier (1gb) was $50 a month less than AT&T which made it quite appealing. The 3gb version came in at $100 a month and I’m going to try that – still $20 a month less than AT&T’s 1gb plan and honestly if there’s any company that’s fueling my hate right now it’s AT&T. Long story about having to get three new AT&T phone lines at work because they can’t port the three new phone lines from the exact same equipment 12 inches away and this is month six I believe of dealing with this current round omitted. Hopefully it won’t be the same as the last Google Fiber install I dealt with that ended up being over two years before it came up and then was notoriously unreliable for the first year and a half.
