Thank you, Marc! Where can I go from here?! 😂 But seriously, it means a lot that my work has this effect. I’m not sure this is replicable at other events. I suspect that the atmosphere you create at beyond tellerrand – and especially the people (speakers and attendees alike) have a lot of influence on what I end up capturing. I just feel very “at home”. Getting to know the speakers a little bit in advance definitely helps me to be more comfortable. So does having complete creative freedom. I think this last fact can’t be emphasized enough. The trust you put into me (and, from what I can see, other creatives having their part in the event) is incredibly freeing and lets me to do my best work. So, thank you for that! It means a lot and is a big reason why I love coming back year after year. As long as you run beyond tellerrand, I’ll be there to document. And, one of these days we’ll manage to create this photo book we have been talking about for these last couple of years! 🙈🤗
