Using those applications means starting up a web browser, navigating to that application or publication, and then logging in. What if you could start a web application in the same way that you can start up software installed on your computer? And do all of that without the distractions found in a browser window? The GNOME Web browser makes doing that quick and easy. Let’s look at how. Creating Your First Desktop Web App Obviously, you’ll need to install Web on your computer. So let’s say you’ve done that.
