Sitting at my desk this morning, tinkering with Drafts, I found myself wondering why I'd been experimenting with Bear as a replacement in the first place. I switched to Bear because I prefer its UI. Specifically, I didn't like how Drafts themes failed to extend their colors to the sidebar and menus on macOS. But a bit of tinkering this morning turned up a theme I actually like — one where the editor background matches the sidebar and menus. I'm not making any big changes. Bear stays. I'm using it for writing blog posts, notes, and journaling, and as a repository for all of it. Drafts is for quick capture. I have two Send to Bear actions to move things over when needed.
