first posts are how selves get made

i made a choice to introduce myself as risse it's a small thing but your name is the first step of an introduction and i like how you can pronounce it at least five different ways, plus it's not on my birth certificate, so i don't have to correct people when they say it wrong i put a lot of weight into introductions i have this fear that on first pass, people read traits into me that i gotta uphold from then on so i put a lot of thought into who i'll come off as and i rewrite first posts over and over because whether i capitalize my letters says something about the self i can offer them, and once i've committed i'll be stuck for a while i don't know though. it's not high school anymore, i don't need to daydream of a body to escape into i should have fun with the identities i act out even if there's nothing truer underneath so hello !! i'm risse :) it's nice to meet you
