Happenings Had my first consultation with my new primary care doctor; he set aside extra time (1.5 hours!) to discuss my health history and explain how the local healthcare system works. One of the best doctor's visits I've experienced to date. I'm also happy to learn that an expensive medicine is a fraction of the cost here. When our bluetooth speaker connects to my computer, it announces, "Connected to... squeak." E thought it was cute and renamed his computer to "boop" to be cute too, except the speaker announces it with, "Connected to... bee-oh-oh-pee." He is very displeased. A long weekend, but it was full of social activity instead of my preferred rolling-around-in-bed. Drove through winding country roads to visit K & A for their housewarming / J's birthday / 6 hours of Mansions of Madness. (I've learned that E is quite good at shepherding people through cooperative games without taking up too much space.) We discovered our tiny bathroom has heated tile flooring. How luxurious.…
