I've been wanting to do one of this posts for a long time. This was one of my first drafts before I opened this blog, actually. Back in February, I spent some time trying to put order on my storage. I had important stuff laying around on my computer, on iCloud, on Google Drive, on my bookmarked Instagram posts, a gazillion smartphone notes and documents on my SD Card. I couldn't find anything and I needed a better system. I made some online searches and swiftly felt in a rabbit hole of deGoogle reddit threads, "how to build a NAS from home" tutorials (I didn't do that), small web advices, note taking softwares and so on. My first actions toward a more ethical use of technology were emptying my Google Drive, learning how to use Obsidian and opening my blog. I kept delaying this post because I thought I couldn't publicly admit I still use ChatGPT sometimes, or that I enabled back Google Play services not long after disabling it, because some of my Apps wouldn't work anymore. Well here…
