First of all, my apologies for leaving this blog with a rather morbid vent and then disappearing for like...a month or so. I had been busy caring for mom post-mastectomy while trying to navigate overstimulation and other ADHD-induced bullshit because I can't afford my Ritalin right now, so my art, my writing and my enjoyment of my favorite critically acclaimed MMORPG went down the drain rather significantly. What I have been doing, however, is reading. I started picking up R.F. Kuang's Babel and I still haven't finished it, but so far the read has been captivating (and very 'we have to make white people pay for the colonization they've caused', as a Malay). Absolutely love how visceral Kuang managed to capture that feeling. I also managed to grab a holf of Between the Lines by Adeline Koh through my comic jam meetups - it's a sapphic rivals-to-lovers story featuring a Chinese American and a Chinese Malaysian figure ice skaters!
