Googling the word “disregard” no longer works as expected. Google’s latest round of AI-ification has finally prompted me to switch my default search engine to DuckDuckGo (which also has a Duck.ai option, but it’s easily switched off and ignored). Google Chrome silently installs a 4 GB AI model on your device without consent. Smart glasses have at least one positive use: as assistive devices for the vision-impaired.
