Back in Beantown

I had a lot of fun in CA, but it is good to be back home. Yesterday I spent most of the day traveling. Today I woke up, made some eggs for breakfast, wrote out a grocery list for the week, and then left to start my run for the day. I had mapped out a 6 mile route to collect a coupe of new streets in Framingham. When I stepped outside it was overcast and windy. I thought it was raining lightly until I could hear the sleet hitting the windshields of the cars in the parking lot. After my beautiful running weather in CA I just couldn’t do it. I went back in and did a 3 mile run on the treadmill instead. We had lunch with Melanie and Eric at Farmstead Table in Newton, went grocery shopping, and facetimed for a little bit with our friend’s the Kirkpatricks. We were also hoping to connect with Sarah for her birthday, but didn’t catch her – maybe tomorrow. After all of that it was time to make dinner in my own kitchen again.
