Friday we came down to Hastings for a nursery visit and to nose at Jack in the Green festivities. I’ll just write up that day: it’s a nice companion to Week 168. Weather was glorious. While we were enjoying a folk band at the Jenny Lind, sea fret rolled in over the town. We noticed it a little, but mostly just enjoyed R enjoying being at the pub. Wandered back to our Airbnb, and then continued on. A path round the back took us up the East Hill, serenaded by birds starting the dusk chorus. Once we were up there, we looked down on the shoreline: a full cloud of mist sat on the sea, the beach, and the first few streets, stretching on past St Leonard’s. We literally couldn’t see the sea, just cloud, but we were in fabulous sun-sinking shine. It was absolutely ethereal. Later, we watched Thursday’s Taskmaster while R slept. In one ad link, Greg said something like ‘Don’t watch ads: go into your garden and shout “I’m Alive!” I had some exercises to do, so I told Ann to do it. She popped…
