This has been a deeply enjoyable project - and one that I had feared would be difficult, proved to be a pleasant challenge. Bringing a BR blue Class 56 to life in OO gauge...The Cavalex donor model needs no introduction - a beautifully rendered model with fine detail in abundance, but more, the prototype captured in miniature - especially convincing are the bogies, I was really impressed with several elements but the consistency in finish and finesse really does show what China is capable of producing these days... I wonder how much you'd need to pay if we made them here in the UK? I know for sure that I would not be able to keep up this level of quality for several thousand models...Sometimes these super detailed models are a little clinical - and in this instance, in the BR blue, very monolithic and almost dead.
