Week 18 Digest

I have finished moving!!!!! Well, I'm battered and bruised but I've made it into my new condo with all my stuff. Since the last digest I worked four days, picked up the keys on my way to the fifth shift, and on the 29th took over a few things, took videos/pictures of everything, and cleaned it up. There was some junk in the cupboards from the previous tenant, the inside of the cabinets and drawers needed to be wiped down, the floor needed to be mopped. It's not like it was in awful shape, but if I'm moving into a new place I want it to feel as clean and new as possible. There are a few things I've identified as problems or are broken, but I'm working around them. Nothing is a deal breaker. On the day, my father and his partner and I moved everything in their SUV. It took three trips and about four hours. I also had to pay a charity about $220 to pick up a sofa that I could not physically easily move out on my own.
