I often watch videos of this nature on YouTube. These types of videos feature folks that have chosen to live in a tiny home or spend an extended amount of time off the grid. I enjoy seeing experiences of others in this realm. I feel a kinship with them. I find this video from Andres Boisen to be particularly inspiring. I don’t know anyone that fully understands my desire and need for solitude as deeply as I feel that need sometimes. My husband comes close to understanding, but he still likes being around people more than I do. The messages in Andres’ video struck a chord with me. I guess my kindergarten teacher was absolutely right on at least one thing: “John is a loner”. Yes, absolutely. And there’s nothing wrong with that.
