Footage of a western/Texas indigo snake swallowing a diamondback rattlesnake. This incredible but tense moment highlights how sometimes fangs and venom are no match for one of our country’s rarest, but most stealthy determined predators, the indigo snake! despite the rattlesnakes warning with its vibrating rattle, it was no match! This amazing footage was captured by my friends @swapa_land in South Texas. I was surprised that they would do this with a live rattler. Tough enough. Indigos’ are rare enough in Florida that they are to get them back to help control pythons.
