The word that sums up this week is: sun!. By golly it was lovely this week. The weather finally broke and it’s been glorious. I’ve also had an extra two days annual leave this week (with the kids at school ( ˶°ㅁ°) !!), which has been so restful. A top moment for me was getting a load of charity shop picture frames and decorating the hall & stairs. I also rearranged my bedroom a little: got a second hand bedside table and moved my old writing bureau to the side; feels a bit more open now. Something I’m looking forward to next week is picnics for lunch at work. I got a cheap camping chair I’ll keep at the office and take out for lunches. HeadlinesMay w/c 2026-05-18 Understanding.
