A recent bout of a hacking cough gave me plenty of late nights to hack… and as a result this blog has a new architecture. 🎉 The Problems I had accumulated several problems that I wanted to solve: My blog repo had ballooned to 2GB, which meant checking it out on my phone to edit was tedious. I wanted to compose/think/write in my plaintext wiki, which means I can use nvim on desktop and Obsidian on mobile. I write in a networked wiki, but publish isolated posts. I just like Elixir. 🤷 I started thinking about this a long time ago. Some of y'all helped me write a script to export my blog posts (and their git history) and merge it into my wiki repo. But I just didn't have all the solutions yet. Finding Tableau For years, I considered writing my own static site generator. I wanted something that used the libgraph module, and had a similar system to Phoenix's plugs. Then I found Tableau. 😍 With all the pieces ready… I made a quick images repo and deployed to cloudflare R2. Lots of space…
