Sometimes I forget just how much people don't know what they don't know. For young people, I understand that they don't know anything that I'm talking about from the '80s or '90s and things like that. That's OK. I also understand that a lot of old people aren't up with the play with technology. So when I'm talking to someone my own age and I mention Kickstarter and they have no concept or idea of what it is, that really surprised me. It reminded me that people don't know what they don't know. So don't assume that whatever you're into, whatever you're talking about, the other person understands it. Take the time to educate them, in the nicest way possible.
