Anyone foolish enough to follow this blog on a daily basis will surely note that more than a few of its posts are not much more than markers indicating something in progress. Once in a rare while, the writer of the blog goes back to those days and finishes it, or at least gives it some recognizable form and shape — that is, if he even remembers what the heck it was about to begin with. Some posts are forever lost to frangible memory; others, though, are recoverable by finding the corresponding receipts — sometimes in the form of an extant conversation thread, or in the form of a photograph taken on that day.
