Lately, life has seemed determined to happen indoors: beneath fluorescent office lights, beneath layers of grief, beneath deadlines, obligations, phone notifications and the endless small catastrophes of ordinary adulthood.With my sister’s employer having moved offices, she now drives significantly farther to work every day.
