Friends, it’s May Day again here in Oxford and things have changed. Have you noticed how they do that? Things: they change. It’s also, fortuitously, a full moon, which, heretofore, has been occasion enough for me to write to you. I’ll cut to the chase: that too is going to change. Longtime subscribers may remember that we did eight issues of Syzygy Business back in 2024, and then took a break (for more or less a full year). Perhaps eight is some kind of natural breaking point for these things, because another octet of issues down, and I’m feeling the need to hit pause—duration to be determined. Let me make two (related) things clear. I’m not going to stop writing on the internet; I’ve been doing it for 25 years and it’d be weird to stop now.
