It’s hot, sunny, and I’m melting. The sofa is a good place to be right now at the hottest time of the day. I should really be outside somewhere, doing something, being somewhere, doing something active or laying in the shade somewhere, under a tree or something. I should be enjoying this unusual May weather. My energy levels are low. No, not on account of the weather; some like it hot. I like it hot. I think it’s a combination of exhaustion and the hot sun. 4pm marks the start of the final games of the season in the Premier League. I don’t support any team in particular, although I was glued to the screen this past week, willing Arsenal to be crowned the champions. It’s been a while for them. Normally, I wouldn’t care who is relegated, but this season is different. It’s two big names in the game: Tottenham Hotspur and West Ham. It’s been like high-drama unfolding. The air is thick with tension, hanging over my head like a fog. I live in close proximity to armies of fans for both sides…
