Miles: 19 Bad signal at camp so writing this in notes and will post tomorrow. Today was it. The most beautiful scenery, the longest miles. I have a lot of pictures I owe you guys. Also, I was thinking I’d do a small rant because that’s what a blogs for. Somebody said something that I really disagreed with and I let it slide. I’m jealous of Scary Hands and her ability to be confrontational. Never being confrontational just makes me feel pathetic. Today was the best hike by far on the trail, so I’m not gonna ruin it with negativity but it’s just something I realized today and need to get it out. I’ll elaborate some other time I guess. Yeah, the hike. So it was just all huge alpine trees and massive rocks. The sun came out which is rare in The Smokies. I started the day with taking the shuttle to the dome I left at and an 8 mile hike where I didn’t stop once just because the trail, weather, and scenery was so good. Even with a heavy pack.
