When you create progress, it is remarkable how much instability people will graciously accept. When there is no progress, it is astounding how much stability people will (rightly) demand. At times, like now, there’s such macro-level instability that progress is even more prized. Any individual leader is limited in how they address that. Yet any individual leader has incredible agency in how they drive progress. Our role as leaders is to introduce more improvement into our team’s day.
