Yesterday, I sat down to edit the 3rd chapter of Unorthodox Tailwind. And I found myself wondering why it was difficult to read — when I put in so much effort to write it! Then it struck me that the writing was not flowing. It didn’t feel like me talking to you. It felt like a bunch of sentences chopped up and pieced together to try to make something short and concise. That style of writing has merits, but it’s too choppy. So it made it difficult for a person to digest what was written. Then, I decided to try something new. The New Way Instead of editing the text by hand again, I chose to Speak it to an AI transcriber Then lightly edit the obvious mistakes that the transcriber failed to catch If I am unhappy with the output, I will repeat the process to make the sentence or paragraph much clearer.
