I too, like to make my trolley go nyoom at the supermarket. Reading tala's minifesto1 on joymaxxing megatechbody's adorably whimsical post reminded me that you can choose joy in the every day.2 That a concerted effort doesn't have to mean suffering (unless you like that sort of thing. In fact, I'd argue that a teeny bit of masochism is called for in every endeavour you hope to enjoy). And that you can put a little whimsy into even the most mundane, doldrummy daily percussions. (Like groceries. Or creating. Or living.) Nyoom, baby.
