Was thinking about the kid feeling listless, adrift. At that age, living by Seattle (or anywhere, really)…if he likes music, maybe encourage him to get a guitar or a piano synth, learn two or three chords, and start writing songs while working at an ice cream store, or some vocational training like electrician, nature guide, whatever he is interested in?
