There's a tendency, when you talk about things you're not interested in any more, to come across like you're using it for ego. As if by saying such a thing you're declaring your interests are somehow better than what other people care about. It gets sharper when the things you've gone off are things you used to be deep into yourself, as if you've moved on to some higher plane and now look down on the rest. That's not what I'm doing here, and I want to make that clear before I get into it.The truth is I'm just not interested in pretty much all the things I cared about before. Phones, laptops, operating systems, who's the CEO of what and whose company turned over a trillion dollars this quarter, none of it does anything for me at the moment.
