Loved the time I went to see Shrek

It's so easy to write about the negative things. I wonder why that is, and whether that's the case for everybody. I liked my jazz post, and I know it encouraged at least one jazz musician to keep studying, so I'm looking to write more uplifting posts, it just takes time to come up with an idea. But if I wanted to write a negative post, I could write a thousand right now, but it probably isn't going to do any good. I'll just tell another story, and this one was one of my first fun solo trips in the US. I'm a huge Shrek fan, it's probably my favorite movie of all time, so I was going to go see Shrek The Musical in Madison, WI. I met this guy on the Shrek Discord who was going to see it with me. He was a future NASA scientist from Texas, or at least that's what he told me. The musical started, and it was like a dream come true, so of course I had to take a couple of photos, only I didn't know it wasn't allowed. And nobody told me it wasn't allowed.
