Earl and I put the 2022 Jeep Wrangler Willys through its paces this evening. Well, at least an introduction to its paces. This is my first time driving a JL series manual transmission, and shifting in considerably different than the older JK and TJ series we’ve owned in the past. The throw of the shifter is much closer to what I experienced on my 2005 Acura RSX back in the day, though at Jeep speeds an intervals. I like the difference. We did some very mild off roading around some ranches along Pantano Wash this evening. Earl remarked the riding experience was night and day when compared to the 2015 Jeep Wrangler Willys we had for a short stint last month. We are off to a great start.
