One of my lifelong school friends recently lost his dad, so on Monday I took the day off to attend the funeral. It was a lovely service, with many heartfelt and moving eulogies from family and friends, and a mix of Indian and American musical influences that included Ravi Shankar and Elvis Presley. I’m so glad I went. One of my other school friends gave me a lift there and back. I love the opportunity to spend more time with him as we never ever seem to run out of things to talk about. On the way home, I pulled out Google Gemini and asked it: I’m in the car with my lifelong friend of 40 years. We have an hour.
